ASSEMBLY
WARNING: Stop the unit and dis-
connect from the power source before
opening the vacuum inlet cover. The mo-
tor must be st opped and the impel l er
blades no longer tur ni ng to avoid serious
injury from the rotating blades.
WARNING: If received assembl ed,
ensur e your unit is properly assembled
and all fasteners are secure.
S A standard scr ewdri ver is required for
assembl y.
Your blower can also be used as a
vacuum by purchasing an optional
vacuum kit (Model EBVA 1910). Con-
tact your authorized service dealer
for details.
BLOWER TUBE ASSEMBLY
1. Align the grooves on the blower tube
with the grooves on the blower outlet.
2. Push the blowertube onto the blower
outlet until it snap s into place (tube is
secured by red tube release button).
3. To remove the blower tube, press the
tube release button while pulling on
tube.

SELECT AN EXTENSION CORD
Use only a 120 A.C. voltage supply as
shown on nameplate of the unit to
power your b lower.
Theextensioncordusedtoreachthe
power source must be:
D Specifically marked as suitable for out-
door use. The cord must be marked wi t h
the suffix “W”.
D Heavy enough to carry full current from
the power source to the unit. Otherwise,
loss of power and overheating can oc-
cur causing damage to unit. Refer t o
table for minimum wire gauge recom-
mendations. The cor d must be marked
wit h the proper wi r e gauge. (Appropr i at e
extension cords ar e avail abl e.) Do not
use mult iple cords.
D In good condi t i on. Cord insulation must
be intact wit h no cracks or deterioration.
Plug connectors must be undamaged.
DO NOT use mult iple cords.
