USING YOUR UNIT
KNOW YOUR ELECTRIC BLOWER
READ THIS INSTRUCTION MANUAL AND SAFETY RULES BEFORE OPERATING YOUR
UNIT.
Compare the illustrations to your unit to familiarize yourself with the location of
the various controls and adjustments. Sav e this manual for future reference.

ON/OFF SWITCH
The
ON/OFF SWITCH is used to activate
the motor.
INLET COVER LATCH
The
INLET COVER LATCH is used to open
and close the va cuum inlet cover.
BLOWER TUB E
The
BLOWER TUBE is designed to direct
the flow of air.
TUBE RELEASE BUTTO N
The
TUBE RELEASE BUTTON secur es th e
blo w er t u be or elbow tube to the bl ow e r
unit during operation. Also, pressing the
tube release button all ows removal of the
blower tube or elbow tube.
WARNING: You MUST make sure
the tubes are secure before using the
unit.
WARNING: Do not use the unit
wit hout the blower tube proper l y attached
to avoid flyi ng debri s and/or im pell e r con-
tact which can cause serious injury. Al-
ways wear eye pr ot e ction t o pr e ventr ocks
or debr i s from being blown or ricocheti ng
into the eyes and face which can result in
blindness or ser i ous injur y.
STOPPING YOUR UNIT
Slide the
ON/OFF switch to the OFF
position.
STARTING YOUR UNIT
Your unit ha s two run positions,
LOW
and HIGH. Slide the s witch to one of
these positions to turn on the unit.

USING YOUR UNIT AS A BL OWER
WARNING: Inspect the area be-
fore using the unit. Remove all debris
and hard objects such as rocks, glass,
wire, etc., that c an ricochet, be thrown,
or otherwise cause injury o r damage
during operation.
Use your unit as a blower for:
D Sweepi ng debri s or grass clipp ings f rom
dri ve wa ys, sidewa lks, pati os, etc.
D Blowing gr ass cli ppings, str aw, or
leaves i nto piles, or removing debris
from corners, around joint s, or bet ween
bricks.
Direct air flow by directing the blower
tube down or to one side. Always work
away from solid objects such as wal ks,
lar ge stones, vehicles, and fences.
Cl ea n corner s by start ing in cor ners and
moving out war d. This wil l help prevent
an accumulation of debris which could
fly into your face.
Be caref ul when worki n g near plants.
The force of the air could damage
tender plants.
